The brief was to come up with a concept  and a brand for an exhibition based on the theme “Eat me”. In terms of final outcomes, we had to develop a consistent brand identity including a marque, printed and digital ephemera, a promotional installation and a wayfinding system. 

 

Beyond the Box is an exhibition that focuses on the communication aspect of the bento box (packed lunch), which is a central aspect of Japanese food culture. In a society where value is given to action rather than speech, the bento is the perfect example of the Japanese way of communicating.
